Yes, this is a tomato...from my garden...it's a bit mutated.
Remember Gary Larson's Far Side cartoons? I'm sure there was one somewhere about a guy looking at a cow and seeing it all carved up into different pieces of meat. So this is my version of that - a steak that is practically moo-ing still! And yes, if you push the nose, it does moo.

Your costume reminds me of The Restaurant at the End of the Universe (a book by Douglas Adams and part of the Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy group of books) rather than of Far Side cartoons... although the idea shows up in both if I remember correctly.
